Control Panel Manual

I have created this manual for Cb-Top members, I tried to present it clear and simple, If after reading through this manual you still need help, please contact me and I will do my best to help you.

When you first login to the control panel this is the page you will see, from this page you can navigate to other options that you have in the control panel, view your downline members (members you personally referred to Cb-Top) and get the javascript code for your plugin Clickbank searchable index (embedded with your affiliate ID). If you click on this Clickbank plugin link you can find a good description how to add the plugin to your own webpages.

At the bottom of the page, when it says: "Your url to send people is:" you can find your affiliate link for your Cb-Top mall.

Update your affiliate Ids

In order to get commissions from the different products that we show on your mall, you have to insert your affiliate ID for each of the programs. If you are an affiliate of any of these programs you can just insert your affiliate ID and click on the "update" button (with the red arrow on the image below).

If you are not an affiliate for some of the programs you can register to their program by clicking on "Click here to join the affiliate program and enter your id below"

Please Note : Some of the affiliate programs only accept paying members to the affiliate programs, if you don't want to be a paying member, don't update this field.)

The programs listed below will accept affiliates only if they are paying members:

• Complete Money Making Site Setup Free
• The Internet Warriors
• Wealthy Secrets
• Ultimate Marketing Center

Update Profile

Here you can:
*Update your personal details
*Password
*Clickbank ID
*Website name - add a short description of your own favorite website (it could be your own website or any other website that you are affiliated with).
*Your website URL - put here you own URL or your favorite affiliate URL, people that will get the free mall under you will see this details in the control panel.
*On-exit Pop URL - This is very important field, (see the red arrow on the image below), Here you can put any URL that you like and every visitor to your mall will get exit pop-up with the URL you placed there. this could bring you some extra traffic to your other websites or affiliate programs.
You can even use the URL rotator to open different exit pop-up every time your portal is visited

Hit Tracker

Here you can track different URL's that you promote, not just for the mall, you can use any URL that you want to track, number of visitors or downloads for any file that you might give from your websites.
You can even use the tracker to do split tests for different type of sales letters and see what sales letter is more successful.
In the title put some kind of description for your own use, it will help you to fast recognize the URL you are tracking.

After you add some URL's to the tracker you will get this screen:

On the bottom of this screen you can see the link that you can use to track your promotions.

The link should be in the next format:

http://cb-top.com/t.cgi?i=username$cid=XX

The username should be replaced to your Cb-Top username and the XX should be the number of the tracked URL, so if we go by the example from the image above and I want to track a sample URL of http://top-profits.com and it's tracker number is "1", this is how the link should be

http://cb-top.com/t.cgi?i=aviv$cid=1

When "aviv" is my Cb-Top user name and "1" is the number of tracker #1

On thw same screen above you can see details about the number of "Raw Hits" and "Unique Hits" to your URL's.

URL Rotator

Here you can rotate different URL's from one link

There could be many uses to this function but the best way to use it is on startpage programs.
(If you don't know what Startpage programs are check this program, it can bring some large amounts of traffic to your websites or affiliate URL's)

Basically, you can rotate unlimited URL's from this function with just one link, so every time this link activated your visitor will see different page that you promote.

On the bottom of this screen you can see the link that you should use for your URL rotator.

The link should be in the next format:

http://cb-top.com/r.cgi?i=username

Note : replace username with your Cb-Top real username

Banner Manager

Here you can rotate unlimited number of banners from just one javascript code that you can put on any of your webpages. Also your banners will be seen on your Cb-Top mall at the top/right corner (see the image below)

When you first click on the Banner Manager you can see a screen like this (below), click on "add a new banner".

On the next screen you should add the following information about your banner:

Title : give some description for the banner, this is for your own use, and when you will have many banners in there, it can help in easy recognition of each banner.

URL : put the URL that will be connected to this banner, for example if it's your website's banner then you should give your website URL in full web format (ex: http://www.mysite.com), if this is some affiliate program that you promote you can put here your affiliate URL.

Banner location : this will be the URL where the banner is hosted, so for example if you host the banner on your own hosting server at : http://mysite.com/mybanner.gif this is what you have to put on this field.

If you want to put some affiliate program banner here you can save the banner in your host server and point to its URL.

Sometimes affiliate programs will give the URL for their banner
(ex: http://affiliateprogram.com/banner1.gif).

After you added some banners to the rotator, you can see the number of impressions and clicks on every one of your banner campaigns, see the screenshot below.

If you want to rotate your banners on your own webpages, you can find a special code on the bottom of the banner manager screen, you should put this code at the exact place that you want to show the rotating banners.

Article Syndication

On your Cb-Top portal there are 88 articles about different marketing subjects, all the links on the resource boxes in this articles are embedded with your own affiliate ID's.

You can put these articles on your own website by a special javascript code as a free content for your site. every visitor that will buy something following this articles will credit you with your affiliate commission.

If you want to put the articles on your pages, Clear your browsers cookies, got to the Cb-Top mall with your own link ex:

http://cb-top.com/x.cgi?id=username

(Note : replace the username with your Cb-Top real username)

Then go to: http://cb-top.com/cgi-bin/vp/syndicate.cgi

On this page you can find special codes to syndicate the articles into your own webpages. You can add just one subject or all of them to different pages.

Note: There is a part of var id = "username", please double check that the "username" is your Cb-Top real username in order to be credited with the affiliate commissions.
